Description

Reduce the effort of handling a suspended tool

This balancer compensates for the weight of a tool or item of equipment over 2.7 m of working travel. Choose a load range that covers the total weight of the tool, its connections and every suspended component.

For indoor use at temperatures from +5 °C to +60 °C.

Technical specifications

Manual drum lock

A knob on the unit engages or releases the manual drum lock. This is separate from option B, which is operated from floor level. If the cable is partly unwound with no load attached, contact GEDO before taking any action.

Use the manual lock only with the load attached.

Centrifugal safety device

A centrifugal safety device is fitted. It is separate from the manual positioning lock and the F friction brake.

Choose options with the balancer

Option B 7190000007 locks and unlocks the drum from floor level using a handle. Select it with the balancer when ordering.

Option F adds a friction brake to adjust drum rotation speed. The corresponding version is referenced 9522.F.

Option RI 70477 provides an insulated rotary suspension so the tool can turn without twisting the cable and the suspended load is electrically insulated.

Choose options B, F and RI with the balancer when ordering. They cannot subsequently be fitted to a unit that was not prepared for them.

Cable-end extensions

Stainless steel cable extensions with a 4 mm cable and a 100 mm snap hook are offered in 500, 1,000, 2,500, 3,000 and 5,000 mm lengths. They adjust suspension height; working travel remains 2.7 m.

Dispatch within 1 week

Express dispatch allows departure within 1 week instead of 15 days. The price of the configuration and selected accessories adjusts automatically. Transport time is separate from dispatch time.
