Balancers for assembly and screwdriving
Applications
Keep screwdrivers, riveting tools and assembly equipment within reach during repeated operations. The suspension supports the complete tool and clears the work surface. Its movement must suit the way the operator uses and puts down the tool.

Start with the working movement
Choose a load balancer to support a tool throughout its working area. Compare retractors when the tool should return to a parked position after use. Capacity alone does not define the required behaviour.
Weigh the complete suspended assembly
Include the tool, socket or working head, couplings and the part of the hose or cable carried by the unit. This total must fall within the model’s adjustment range. Measure travel between the highest and lowest working positions and check the mounting height.
Choose the complete configuration
Temporary holding, rotation and floor-level controls must be checked against the exact reference. Select compatible accessories on its product page. A terminal extension changes the attachment height; it does not increase useful travel.

Questions to help you choose
Should I choose the largest capacity?
Choose an adjustment range containing the actual suspended weight. A higher maximum capacity does not replace this check.
Can one quotation cover several workstations?
Add each configuration and quantity to your selection. GEDO can then review the different workstation requirements in one request.
