Your enquiry and its information

A quote enquiry includes the contact name, company, an email address or telephone number, any message and the selected products with quantities, options and accessories. This information is used to assess your requirements and prepare the business relationship. Required fields are indicated in the form.

Account or order processing also involves information needed to identify the business and manage invoicing, delivery and follow-up. Technical information needed for service operation and security may be recorded.

Why the information is used

A requested quote and order management rely on steps taken at your request before a contract or performance of the contract. Accounting and tax records relate to legal obligations. Service protection and support requests rely, depending on their purpose, on GEDO’s legitimate interests or the contract.

Access to information

Authorised GEDO personnel access the information needed for their role. Providers involved in hosting, business management, delivery or payment receive the information needed for the relevant operation. Necessary technical details may be used to assess a configuration or spare part.

Retention

Enquiries are retained while being processed and during follow-up exchanges. Information needed as evidence of a transaction or to meet an obligation is then archived for the corresponding period, with access limited to that purpose. Retention periods and recipients must match the operation actually carried out.

Selection in your browser

The product selection uses local storage containing references, quantities and configuration choices. The name, email, telephone and form message are not saved in this local selection. See Cookies and storage for how it works and deletion options.

Checkout entries and language changes

When you change language during checkout, a temporary copy of your entries (name, company, contact details, addresses, order notes, VAT and business-purchase choice) restores the form in the same tab. This copy is removed after the form is restored and cannot be reused after one minute. It excludes passwords, payment data and acceptance of sales terms. It is not added to your locally stored product selection.

Exercising your rights

Depending on the processing concerned, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability and exercise your right to object. Write to contact@gedo.fr or the registered office. Identity verification may be needed to protect your data. You may also complain to the CNIL.
