Balancers for electronics and ESD workstations
Applications
At workstations handling components sensitive to electrostatic discharge, tool suspension is part of the overall setup. ESD versions address this requirement while load range and travel remain matched to the task.

Integrate the balancer into the ESD workstation
Specify protected-area requirements, intended grounding connections and suspended components. Electrical continuity and installation conditions must be checked for the selected version and its documentation.
Choose the mechanical behaviour as well
ESD requirements complement weight and travel selection. A light tool returning to a parked position requires different behaviour from one supported throughout its working area. Check any need for temporary cable holding.
Keep a qualified configuration
Couplings, accessories and modifications can affect workstation operation. Choose components listed for the model and ask GEDO to review special requirements. State any explosive-atmosphere requirement separately.

These examples cover different capacities and movement behaviours. Enter your load and travel in the selector before choosing a configuration.
Questions to help you choose
Is an ESD version automatically ATEX-rated?
ATEX suitability requires a separate check of the reference, marking and configuration. The ESD designation alone does not establish it.
What information should I provide?
Specify weight, travel, desired movement, workstation ESD requirements and necessary accessories or connections.
