Description
Choose a balancer for an explosive atmosphere
This ATEX version supports suspended tools at workstations where an explosive atmosphere may occur. Selection depends on the exact marking of the reference and the installation’s operating conditions.
This retracting version returns the suspended tool towards its resting position when any operating lock is released.
Size the load range and working travel
Include the tool, its holder and every suspended component in the total weight. Keep this total within the reference’s rated load range. Choose the working travel needed for the task; a cable-end extension adjusts suspension height without increasing working travel.
Check the gas group and temperature class and, where a dust marking is given, the corresponding dust group and surface temperature. The model marking does not replace verification of the complete configuration, accessories and grounding.
The housing is aluminium and the cable is stainless steel. Connect grounding at the point specified in the operating instructions and check the mountings before use.
