Overview
Reduce the effort of handling a suspended tool
This balancer compensates for the weight of a tool or item of equipment over 3 m of working travel. Choose a load range that covers the total weight of the tool, its connections and every suspended component.

For indoor use at temperatures from +5 °C to +60 °C.
Manual drum lock
A knob on the unit engages or releases the manual drum lock. This is separate from option B, which is operated from floor level. If the cable is partly unwound with no load attached, contact GEDO before taking any action.
Use the manual lock only with the load attached.
Centrifugal safety device
A centrifugal device locks the drum in the event of excessive speed, for example after accidental release of the load. This safety function is separate from the lock used to position the tool.
Choose options with the balancer
Option B locks and unlocks the drum from floor level using a handle. The equipped version is referenced 9432.B.
Option B1 is a reinforced floor-operated locking and unlocking control. The equipped version is referenced 9432.B1. Choose B or B1 to suit the application; the two controls are alternatives.
Option RI 70477 provides an insulated rotary suspension so the tool can turn without twisting the cable and the suspended load is electrically insulated.
Choose options B or B1 and RI with the balancer when ordering. They cannot subsequently be fitted to a unit that was not prepared for them.
Cable-end extensions
Stainless steel cable extensions with a 5 mm cable and a 120 mm snap hook are offered in 500, 1,000, 2,500, 3,000 and 5,000 mm lengths. They adjust suspension height; working travel remains 3 m.
Dispatch within 1 week
Express dispatch allows departure within 1 week instead of 15 days. The price of the configuration and selected accessories adjusts automatically. Transport time is separate from dispatch time.
