Relevant functions
A shopping site may use cookies for sessions, security, language or the cart. Browser local storage is a separate mechanism: here it allows selected references and configurations to be available on a later visit in the same browser.
Your balancer selection
The selection stores product identifiers, quantities and chosen options or accessories. It does not contain the contact details entered in the quote form. It is stored on the device and in the browser used.
This local storage has no automatic expiry in the current version. Removing lines changes the selection; clearing site data through your browser also erases this storage. Another browser or device does not automatically retrieve your selection.
Checkout entries and language changes
When you change language during checkout, a temporary copy of your entries (name, company, contact details, addresses, order notes, VAT and business-purchase choice) restores the form in the same tab. This copy is removed after the form is restored and cannot be reused after one minute. It excludes passwords, payment data and acceptance of sales terms. It is not added to your locally stored product selection.
Clear or block storage
Your browser settings let you inspect, delete or block site data. This may remove a selection and end a session. If local storage is unavailable, the selection may not be retained between visits.
Optional trackers and external content
Trackers requiring prior permission must remain inactive until you choose. A choice about audience measurement or external content is separate from keeping a cart requested by you. The tools and retention periods must be described according to the configuration actually used.
