Kromer balancers

Balancers · GEDO selection

Balancers, retractors, positioners and hose versions: Kromer ranges support different ways of working. First choose how the tool should behave, then select load and stroke.

Kromer balancer 8230000001

The brand and its applications

The Kromer range distinguishes a retractor, which returns the tool towards its resting position, from a balancer intended to offset its weight within the working area. Positioners address a holding-position requirement. ATEX, ESD and Rust-free versions are selected separately.

Choose for your workstation

For repeated tasks, specify whether the tool should remain within reach or retract after use. Total load includes couplings and the suspended hose. For a cleanroom, provide the required class, cleaning and materials: Rust-free and Cleanroom are not interchangeable designations.

Frequently asked questions

Balancer or retractor?

Choose a balancer to offset weight in the working area, or a retractor to return the tool after use. Check this behaviour on the product page, beyond the capacity in kilograms.

How do I select a cleanroom model?

Specify the required class, cleaning agents, permitted materials, load and stroke. A Rust-free designation alone does not establish suitability for a cleanroom class.

What is needed to replace an older Kromer?

Provide the complete nameplate reference, load range, stroke and fitted devices. Do not infer equivalence from the 72 or 82 reference prefix alone.

Tell GEDO what you need
