Application

ESD means electrostatic discharge. An ESD balancer suspends a tool and reduces handling effort at workstations where sensitive electronic components are assembled, inspected or repaired. Its antistatic design and grounding allow it to be integrated into an electrostatic discharge protected area, known as an EPA.

Selection points

Check grounding and electrical continuity in accordance with the instructions and the workstation ESD control plan. ESD design does not establish ATEX suitability.

The total suspended weight must remain within the load range. A cable-end extension does not change the working travel.
